The Return of The Savior

Lately I've been thinking about the Last Days. I've always known that we lived in the last days but recently I've been pondering more and more about it. Prophecies of Old are being fulfilled and that means that each day we grow closer to the return of the Savior to the Earth. I am so thankful for the knowledge of the gospel in my life. It is the greatest blessing. As the scriptures say "If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear".

Thankful for Riding Gear

Yesterday we went riding and when I mean riding I dont mean on a track. When we go riding is trail riding. You know in the mountains on a single trail with trees, roots and well obsticles on the way. Also with very steep parts going up and coming down. The going up part is not so bad you just hit the gas and cruise on up. Going down is the hard part. I think of myself as not very coordinated by nature, I feel like I need to do things over and over again in order to get it. Its really hard for me to break with my hand and with my foot at the same time while steering and holding on to the clutch. So we are riding along and go up this hill and come up to this tree just blocking my way so i stop and I go around it but I guess I went a little fast and then kind of was heading the wrong direction, not on the trail but down the hill to the side. At this time is when good coordination would have come in handy but it didnt. I really dont know what I did it was all too fast and the next thing I know Im face planting head on to the ground. Jimmy was just ahead a bit and he saw the whole thing. He came right up. My initial reaction was to be so angry that I crashed and then I was upset I started crying. I know funny.Nothing really happend but a big headache and my heel kind of bruised a little. At this point I was so thankful for riding gear so thankful for the people that invented it. They really saved me from taking a big hit.

Weekend Trip to LA/San Diego

So last weekend we took a trip to Southern California. We really didnt plan it at all, it was all really spontaneous. We found a really good deal flying to Long Beach from San Francisco for $14 each way! We couldnt believe it or pass it up so we bought them on thurdsay and where on a plane at 7:00 am on friday. We arrived at Long Beach airport and we rented a car. When we got there they showed us what we were driving. This small little blue hyundai. Jimmy said that if someone were to ask him to describe the worst car in the world he would describe that one. haha. We got in it and we started driving towards Hollywood. We wanted to get close to the Hollywood sign and so we started driving around until we found this park. Then we started hiking around and we found the best view of it. It was so fun. Then we went to Universal Studios and went on all the rides. My favorite is Jurassic Park. We got wet but it was worth it. We then went downtown LA and to Beverly Hills. By this time we were exhausted so we decided to head to Jimmy's grandma's RV where we were staying. Luckily his grandma let us stay in this RV that her and her husband have at this RV Resort. Which was packed with pools, hot tubs and a golf course. We spend saturday and sunday at the resort. We enjoyed watching coference and fitting in a few games of golf and tennis in between. Which I might add that I am getting pretty good at tennis since I last decided to start playing. I was schooling Jimmy! well sort of.. On monday we went down to San Diego, for my birthday in June I wanted to go to the Body World Exhibit, they show real human bodies and all the anatomy and procesess. And Jimmy was so sweet to take me early. I loved it! It was so fascinating and exiting.I was glad that Jimmy liked it too. After we had a yummy lunch and headed to the beach. It was such a beautiful day. The water was a pretty good temperature.. colder than I like it,but Jimmy jumped right in and body surfed and had fun in the waves. I like to watch from afar. I was scared of those waves. They were HUGE! That is the short version of our small vacation. At the end of each day we were beat. So tired of having fun all day long. Its always nice to get away and specially for cheap! If you want to get offers on cheap airfaire you can go to travelzoo.com and sign up for their top 20 weekly specials and they will be sent to you weekly. Good luck!
