New Dirtbike

So after Jimmy read my post on "active hobbies" he helped me to get going on one of them. He bought me my own dirtbike! He is so amazing and I love him so much. I am really blessed to have him in my life. He was so exited and just started looking and when I mean looking it was hours and hours of being online looking for a bike for me and he found such a good deal. He is the BEST online shopper I know. We went down to Sacramento to pick it up yesterday. We brought it home and I love it. Today Jimmy took me on a short ride. I hadn't really ridden in so long and it was a bit tough at the beginning to get the hang of it but I am proud to say that I think I did pretty good for a beginner. No big crashes anyway. I hope that I can get better and better as I ride. I am also looking towards being able to spend time together riding, Im sure that I can learn a few tricks from him. Its going to be so fun!

Physically Active Hobbies

So lately Jimmy and I have been talking about how It would be a good idea for me to get a new "active hobby" . Since right now Im not working and just staying home, I've been tryin to keep busy. I've decided to try a few things. One of them is learning how to play tennis. I know I know what everyone is thinking. Everyone that really knows me knows that my hand eye cordination is not that great. But I am happy to say that I feel like I'm getting better! I've only gone twice but I feel like I might have a good future with it. After playing my arm is a little sore and I am super hungry because I burn off all these calories running after the ball like all day long but I cant wait until I get soo good that I can actually rally the ball back and forth and play an actual game. Also I've started running again and thankfully Im over the part where yourlungs and your chest burn. Now I am in the stage where I need to motivate myself to actually do it. So wish me luck. And lastly I am thinking about really learning how to ride a dirtbike. I've done it before and my first encounter with riding resulted on a big crash. But I got back on the next day and completed a full trail! That was summer of 07 so I've had enough time to warm up to it again. I havent ridden since then and who knows when Ill try again but thats some of the hobbies that will help me keep physically active.

Our Home

So finally I got around posting the pictures of our home. I still need to do some decorating and I'm not really talented in that area but the least I can do is try. This is were I spend most of the day if not all my day. I think its plenty big and for sure keeps me busy. We have an upstairs and a downstairs. Upstairs we have a bedroom a bathroom and a small office. Which we use for our games and computers. Downstairs we have the kitchen living room a small dinning room and an extra bedroom with a king size bed and a full bathroom. So if anyone wants to visit. WE HAVE ROOM FOR YOU!

In Chicago

Posted by Picasa
We all went to Chicago and by meaning all i mean Jimmy and I and his whole family! We all stayed at my parents house and had a delicious New Years dinner. Then the following days we got ready for the reception that we had in Chicago. It was really fun seeing old friends and family. I loved spending time with both of our families there. We had so much fun touring around the city. The weather was descent for a Chicago winter averaging on the 20F. The trip was a success! We went to The Art Museum, had Chicago style hot dogs at Portillos and even went to Wrigley Field. It was a great time. When we realized it was time to go home... I was very sad to leave, hopefully we can go back sometime this year and visit. Leaving Chicago was another story. So Jimmy and I were on a different flight than his parents, we rode together to the airport in California so we wanted to return together. Our filghts were 12 hrs appart which meant we had to wait at the airport for 12 hours. We called United and asked if we could just go in the flight that Jimmy's parents where getting on at 8pm instead of 6 am that morning. They said sure that there was room. Well when we get to the airport and they said that we cant. If you missed your plane (like we did) you can get on a flight on standby to the destination we were going. Well we had a layover so they wanted to send us to Denver and then we had to buy our own plane tickets to Sacramento. LAME-because we knew that the 8pm flight to Sacramento had room for us! So after talking to so many people and jimmy telling the counter lady that we just got married and had no money to buy other tickets, she was touched and changed us to the 8 flight. So we finally made it to California! That was the end of our trip and really no desire to deal with airlines.
